| DJ PREMA PRESENTED HIS NEW MIXTAPE WHERE HE ANNOUNCED A COMBINATION OF RNB AND ELECTRONICA AS A NEW TREND IN 2010 |
|
Releasing and presenting new promotional sets to the public is becoming more and more important in a DJ’s career. With the help of the Internet, in a fast and simple way, the audience can listen to the set with which a DJ selectively promotes new songs of global and Serbian production. Unfortunately, there are not that many DJs here who present their promotional set to the audience via music CD. And that this method of promotion is also successful, is told by the fact that among clubbers there are those who are not active Internet users, but want to hear something new.
Predrag Radisavljevic, better known as DJ Prema, started making music at 16. He was one of the “187” band’s founders with which he released 3 studio albums. He started his DJ career in 1997 by receiving his first residence at the club Dzungla. Since then he has performed in many clubs in Belgrade and across Serbia. He is a member of the team “Bad Brothers” that started the evening series called “I love R’n’B”. He worked and performed with many well known foreign stars. Throughout his many years of successful work and presence he has constantly contributed to the development and refreshment of the Serbian club scene.
On Wednesday January 27th 2010 at the club Plastic, DJ Prema has, for the regular evening dedicated to the fans of R’n’B and hip-hop sound, presented the guests with his new mixtape for the winter season called “Report To The Dancefloor”. All guests who were among the first to arrive at the club had the chance to receive a gift promotional CD. Otherwise, this is Prema’s fourth promotional mixtape where he showcased a new version of R’n’B music connected to electronic sound, which could be characterized as a completely new trend in 2010. There are 35 carefully chosen tracks on the disk in a fast and precise mix that the fans are accustomed to.
Introduction into the evening was prepared by DJ Ike with numbers like “Family Affair” in the original performance of Mary J. Blige. Although Wednesday is not that popular a day with the clubbers during wintertime, Ike managed to “warm up” the audience that arrived. After him DJ Prema took the mix stand and continued to lift the atmosphere by opening up his set with the track “Audio Push – Teach Me How To Jerk”. A strong vibe, at the already full club Plastic, was especially felt when DJ Prema played “Bebi Dol – Hajde da” in his sunset remix. All things considered the entire atmosphere was such that not even the winter freeze could prevent the regular clubbers from coming to the mixtape promotion. |
