Nenad Hegedis a.k.a. Shone was born in Belgrade, Zemun (Serbia) July 2nd in 1984. Since he was little he began an interest in sports while watching his father Janos Hegedis, a triple-jump champion. So, only six years old, he jumped 3.5 meters, a serbian record in the younger pioneers category. Later, he took more interest in soccer, one of the more popular sports in the country. He got his first membership card in the soccer club „Zemun“. The talent he had for soccer was noticed by many coaches, however, due to a severe knee injury sustained at 19, his soccer career ends. After he finished high school he enrolls at the Sports Acadamy.
Along with sports, music is something that is always present in his life. He developed a great interest in electronic music at 20, when he becomes a faithfull follower of all rave events in Belgrade. Later, he got more and more interested in big international parties, such as Street Party, Dance Valley and Sensation White in Budapest, at which he attended several times. His love for electronic music was reflected in his first mixes which he made at his home PC. He got his first mixer at 21 when he started to make more serious mixes. He soon joined forces with his godfather Ivan Ivanovic to perfect his mixing technique. Many house parties that he visited, ended up with his choice in music and mixing out of sheer fun, putting the guests in a good mood. Besides that, although DJ-ing is his hobby, he felt the vibe of a club atmosphere in front of more than 500 people. He signs his sets and performances under the name Ultimate Dog.
He got his first work experience in the company „Triple Jump“, which is the main importer for the brand Converse, where he works even today, and stays ahead. Te great interest in electronic music, made him devote his spare time into realization of an idea about the project Visual Sound Generation, to which he came about together with his high school class friend Ivan Bozanic. Through their long work and time spent together, they start to create the electronic magazine for electronic music VSG. |
